Yeah the diff is Japanese i think. it's got a taller ratio than the petrol one. Don't know about them all being green, maybe! We've owned a lot of them and have only got one metallic green one. The engine mounts are about 5cm further forward in the diesel, which is helpful for a few different engine...

I'm the second owner of my TE, bought it from a lady in Sydney for $450, had a bit of rust. It was originally a diesel, they were all SLX models.
