Friday nite gem cruise

We had an impromptu cruise at maroochydore last friday nite....yes i know my photo's are crappy (blame my old nokia)

7 eleven maroochydore....looks like an old school pic!

The fourth gem (gemmy boi) got pulled over by the police after they saw the P plates, in hindsight he should of been first or second, as the sound of our approching gems made the footpatrol turn around....

if anyone is keen to come up, we can get together and do a lap anytime, looks like we got gems on the rise up here, there is about 10 getting around!

Nice one Elky , Cruises and meets are great fun ,you get to chat and see each others gems and stuff .. Did gemmyboi get done or ? good to see your ZZ and daves coupe out on the street , and the silver TG , is that daves old one or ?

We had a night cruise on Sat night with about 11 gems . Unfortunatly a 1988 Irmscher Gemini whacked into the back of a TG and was then hit from behind by another TG , basically sandwiched

After that , the cops found our meet point , and had a friendly chat , they were very nice about it all and stayed in there car , asked where we had been and where we were going (we gave them a map) , and just general chitchat , was a good experience to have with the police , as you would expect them to start checking cars and all , but no . they just asked us to keep it safe and sensible ..

yea gemmy boi got only a minor ticket, yep that is coxy's old silver gem, Alan the bloke who bought it, has been restoring my old ZZ/R, so soon we will have 2 ZZ gems cruising....

i let the ZZ run free that night....she copped some abuse and had the speed alarm goin off...

Gretzy, looking for ward to seeing another gem on the road....
