Why no QLD gemini forum? :(

Post by luke20 »

I just saw on the home page that there is Canberra Gemini club, Just Gems of SA and GemsWA but there is no specific forum for us Queenslanders :( Why is that? Im sure someone in QLD *looks at Gene* can build up a forum? It would also be easier for buying and selling and also planning cruises. Just a thought I had in mind :)
I've joined the dark side.......... Toyota AE86.

Also bought my Gem back... awwwww shieeeetttt

Gene has built a forum. You're looking at it. It has a QLD section. You're looking at it.

why do we need another forum for gems?

this ones pretty quiet as it is. wouldnt it just make us all go different ways and more difficult to talk to each other about our cars?

no what we need is an actual Gemini club of Queensland inc. that way we can get club rego, get to know people more, plan cruises and have a monthly meet/BBQ.
Ive looked at starting one before, Quite a bit involved but would need help from other people as i am still keen to put the hard work in whether it would be doing all the paperwork side of things or organizing stuff and not to mention that we would need a president, secretary and treasurer, because at this rate i have too much time on my hands and want to get involved in something :D

Elky, Lachy and myself were the founding members of the Isuzu Motorsports Club back in the day, it was an incorporated association, we had monthly club meetings, and all the official things that go along with it. we had 25 members at our peak, but when the three founding members decided we were over being club officials after 4 years the club folded as none of the other club members were willing to step up to the plate..
