After installing the front or rear windscreen how do I install the locking strip, on a TE

You need a special tool , like a little triangle that the strip runs though , and spreads the rubber so the locking strip feeds straight into it , bit of lube to assist..

Those are pretty crap, I got one but the type with a roller is much better

The dude who fitted my coupe screens fitted them to the rubber before fitting

Read it again T D Cripes, it doesnt say anything about the sealing strip.
