Gemini Wanted Maxx price $6000

Post by Davey Dexta »

Im Looking to buy a Gem.
I got $6000 to play with but heres the go, I'm on my red P's in Vic so it cant have preformance parts i dont think.

I want it to be a real head turner with a bit of go, a nice interior and a reliable engine. do any of you have any sudgestions? would i be better of just doing up one? would i be better of doing one up?

i would mind a 2ltr either. i reckon i could get away with that.

yeah - buy the hulk and you have some extra cash for rego, insurance and adding your own personal touch. Or just doing a few small things like suspension, new shocks, springs steering bushes, giving it a full service and make it nice and easy to drive. Great for a first gem!

nah no rwc but it shouldn't be to hard to get though, just slap some 13's on it and it should be fine unless they pick up on the lowness but it should be fine no oil leaks at all, recently replaced font seal it just got old and started leaking, has new front brakes, spark plugs, new oil,oil filter, air filter, distrubitor cap and rotor button, so shouldn't be hard to get a roadworthy

no offence to THEHULK but if it was so good and a real bargain it would have sold ages ago.

It's a bit pointless running a poll on a personal choice like your car. You will get a number of opinions, most of which you will ignore anyway.

In the end of the day it all comes down to personal choice. It's your car, your money to spend, your personal choice. Do you a preference of shape, year, body style i.e sedan, wagon, pano, coupe? Put a WTB ad in the forum for what you are looking for and see whether there is something that fits your taste.

If you are not savvy enough to do up your own car and can find a Gemini that suits your requirements at the right price then go for it.

If you are the do-it-yourself type then buy the Gemini model you like and modify to suit your tastes. Obviously you can take short cuts if you find something that is partly done the way you want.
