PROSEAT - Seat Cover/Re-trims

Post by GEM-DEO »

I have been speaking with Max Ungun from Proseat Auto Aircraft Marine Interior Centre
about maybe starting on making seat covers for gemini's

this is the reply i got from Max;

Would love to get in to Gemini seats, however I dont have any patterns unfortunately.
I can start searching for seats in wreckers and/or do you have the old trims in good condition?
If so we only need the passanger and rear seat upholstery.

Let me know please so I can provide further details.

We can always organise a group buy in forums as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

in case no-one knows what im on about, he basically makes covers to swap over the skins on stock seats

clicky clicky for a preveiw

So i pretty much made this thread to show Max how much interest he may receive
but he is obviously in need of gem seats to make template,

to get the ball rolling i would be willing to ship down a set of slx seats
but maybe if any one is local to, Hoppers Crossing, Victoria and willing to drop off some seats to him to get this all happening

If anyone could donate or offer some seats, contact Max on 0417 052 070 or email at info@proseat.com.au

Cheers Dyl

are they the head rest sort of rears? i think them and a set of head rest fronts would be ideal

i'd say a template for early and late would be great

The guy that owns pro-seat (Max) is goin to take it, rip them apart, then make templates to mass produce re-skins for those seats

if you look on his ebay ads you can choose everything you want
i.e. leather colour/s, stiching colours, patterns embroided etc.

and he makes them up and sends them to you and all you gotta do is take your stock skins off the seats and put the leather 1's on, making it a lot cheaper to re-trim your seats

Im not sure dude you'd have to talk with him
I'd say they would get fully pulled apart to get the template

doubt you'd get them back but maybe ask for a discounted set of re-trims?
As a payment or sell them to him

if you wanna stop in and chat with Max his workshop is at
10 Moffatt cres, Hoppers crossing.

I've got a full set of sl/x front and rear seats with no tears and bugger all stretch that i'd donate for the cause, don't want anything in return but i can't pay the freight.
If anyones interested give me yell and you can pick them up. The tilt mech in both fronts are sloppy as but you could still get a decent pattern off them.
Cheap repairs and sprayjobs, nothing is too big or small-PM for details!
