Join the Council of ACT Motoring Clubs on the 18 NOVEMBER 2012
For the 10th Annual Marques in the Park (Special interest vehicle display)
JOHN KNIGHT PARK, BELCONNEN, ACT
Event Details:
Event - 'Marques in the Park' Special interest vehicle display
Location - John Knight Park in Belconnen
Date - Sunday the 18th November 2012
Time - 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Marques in the Park has grown from 200 cars in 2003 to over 800 in 2011, this is the 10th year and we are hoping to get over 1000 vehicles on display,
showcasing over 100 years of vehicles from the Canberra Region.

Details and Facts
· The display at John Knight Park will begin at 10.00 am and go until 3.00 pm
· John Knight Park is on Aikman Drive Belconnen, AC.T.
· Entry to Marques in the Park is FREE for participants and spectators
· Espresso coffee and Food stall selling hot food and cold drinks
· Trade stalls selling goods and services for motoring enthusiasts
· Marques in the Park is the spring time motoring display for the Council of ACT Motor Clubs and remember this event is for everybody:
· Young and Old, People and Cars
· Bog stock to Hot Rod
· Primers to Candies
· Street Cars to Street Machines
· Rusty to Restored
· Street hacks to Show Cars
· Push bikes to Drag cars
· Vintage Caravans to transporters

I'll bring the gas and our bbq + cups and plates and if everyone wants to pitch in we can buy some stuff for lunch.

Should have a few cars out then so we should get awesome numbers.

P.S No skid pan the week before so we shouldn't have any issues bringing cars lol

Yeah Im in. Exams are weeks before this time (moved to Trimesters) so I have nothing to really stop me coming.

Hi all,

We are going to meet up at the Belconnen MacDonalds/AMF carpark before 9am.

We will then cruise in as a club and setup.

I'll bring the CGC Banner/Esky/BBQ & some cutlery.
I'm flat broke so if people would like to chuck in a few dollars so we can buy food and drinks that would be great.
(I'll bring/source transport to the mall and buy some stuff on the day)

If you want to bring something along instead let me know

Also if you could check the below thread out on CGC that would be awesome
