Thanks for the comments guys.

As Elky said, the body is getting very tired. But that's what you get with a cheap backyard paint job from about 8 years ago... Parked outside each day at work. Needs a good freshen up. But unlikely to ever get done. It's my daily driver.

I just enjoy driving it. Not too fussed by the external appearance now.

Sorry, but not planning on selling it. Cost too much to get it to where it is now, and would not get much if I sold it. I am best off keeping it.

Cheers,
Matthew

The motor does not fit straight in. Had to mod the brake booster, steering rack, sump, sway bar mounting, engine & g/box mounts, hydraulic clutch, tail shaft, gear shift hole and hand brake....

With the HP numbers that are getting around with the old G161/180/200 engines with turbo and efi now, I would of probably go that way than an engine conversion if I was to start over.

Cheers,
Matthew

This car still looks good up close, and she gets up and boogies, and roars downthe street, nice to see a wagon with some poke

Matt did you end up using that ECU I sold you?

Go the 3RZ-T way if you try something new, haha

yeah, it is. The problem with the ecu was a fuse was blown for the fuel pump relay, but the electriical system was somehow trying to compensate for it by drawing all the current through the ecu - result =COOKED ecu.

All good now.

Very nice wagon, love the colour, I remember my old panel van windowless TD, absolutely loved it.
