I owned a gem years ago, my thoughts are with your engine, think about boring the engine to 30 thou over.
My knowledge with engines is not that great much anymore since not being near them for about 7 yrs, but with oversizing, I found using a radiator with three cores is the right thing to do. I also shaved the head by 30 thou.
I've been told about putting rodeo heads onto the engine, though didn't look into it.

nice gem mate i love it u should be running a rotary or something in it mate it would fly put a rotary in it and youll be able to get between 12 10 seconds out of it easy mate but otherwise nice gem mate happy with your effort nice
