375hp/580nm on 22psi with E85

That's a safe tune, Jamie got 400+ on the same boost but he said it was pushing the engine and he wasn't happy

If we added more boost we could get 400hp+ easy but the Haltech MAP sensor are only good for 22psi but I'm happy with a reliable 375hp

I'm replacing the 4.55:1 diff gears with 3.55:1 or 3.77:1 to make it less aggressive haha

That's badass, thanks for sharing those dyno graphs, I'm building a fairly similar setup and am just looking at turbos so that was a huge help. Which A/R is your GT3082R? I was looking at GTX3071R in 0.64 and hoping for 230-240rwkw on 98RON with mad response. Looks promising, considering your results!

Revs wise, I'm guessing it wasn't running out of steam but you set the limiter there for reliability? Do you have the standard cam/valves, and have you built the lower end yet or still standard?

Great result

What bottom end work has been done?

What exactly was the tuner concerned about with higher boost? Cylinder pressures?

He said he could of got more out of it by tweaking the tune and leaving the boost but he is happy with the A/F ratios and would prefer to sacrafice 25hp instead of causing harm to the engine

To be honest it is an animal to drive and comes on boost hard i dont think i would notice 25hp extra haha

Bottom end has

CP Forged Pistons
Nitrated Crank
Spool H Beam Rods
ARP Head Studs
ARP 2000 series crank and rod bolts
Decked Block
Blue Brint and Balance
9.0:1 Comp
MLS Head Gasket (Thomas4Parts)
New Oil pickup
Oil pump pressure increased slightly

Engine should handle 30psi on e85 but im happy on 22psi

Well so far I'm on the 3rd MUA 5speed, so I have decided to run a 3 Speed Trimatic

I have changed from a GTX3082 to a Precision 6466 gen2

Also upgraded the intercooler & piping from 2.5" to 3" & the exhaust from 3" to 3.5"

I'm now running a 4 bar map sensor and converting to individual coils

The 1000cc injectors didn't cut it so now im running 1650cc injectors

Before I changed everything we achieved 445hp on 27psi using the haltech 21psi map sensor hence why we the graph stops early

I'm hoping to crack the 500+hp on 30psi with new setup

Looks good!

How did you go about getting it up to 27psi on the map sensor?

Awesome

You will s*#t 500hp in. The 6466 only starts to come alive around that boost anyway.

At 30psi, assuming 85% head efficiency (conservative) and cam running out of puff at 7000rpm, your engine should be ingesting about 850cfm or 57lb/min. I'm guesstimating about 560-580whp on e85 at 30psi.

Good luck

Mick

Just saw the graph properly and see you're running out of cam / head at just over 6000rpm. So revised power guesstimate from me is 520-540whp

I'm struggling to get a info for a bigger cam

I have the biggest regrind you can get without throwing out the base circle way out

I can get a billet cam made up but I don't know how much lift I can have before piston touches valve

I know they don't like to rev past 6500-7000 but if I could get a cam made with big lift and greater duration I don't think I would need to rev it
