Just wondering if anyone knows what diff is in a Holden Rodeo TF R9 2wd 4cyl Petrol ute? I wonder if there is another diff that is an easy bolt in replacement for it. The gearing is way too low.
Also I do not know if this is the best forum to be asking in.....

Funny enough I have been down this path
they only come in 4.33:1 & 4.56:1
I ended up using a 4x4 hilux diff for my 2wd rodeo
Rodeo Diff 4.56 top speed was 198 kph 6000rpm in 5th
Hilux Diff 3.55 top speed is 254 kph 6000rpm in 5th

Was that a simple bolt in swap? Or did you need to change the length of the drive shaft, drill new diff mounting holes etc?

Everything had to be modified but worth it for the selection of gears I now have available

I know that the earlier Isuzu banjo diffs had some interchangeability, ie possibly Jackaroo to early Rodeo, Jackaroos were 4.55 I believe. If it's part of the earlier Isuzu family you might be able to find other ratios, but they'll be rare.
