I'm down for where ever we choose, but Kiama sounds like a good plan to me. Fairer for you southerners. But that means we expect a better turn out . :D

Hopefully Ill have the TX on the road by then, and the Mrs can bring it along

Well I have to get there I gather to show my dial and the Black Beast.

Now would you all consider an inland area such a Tamworth/Hunter Valley for the turn out as it is more central?

Just a thought but this would suit my CDT - a Country Car not a beach bum    but I could always just bring the ZZ/Z or gypsy van in it's place and sleep in her

Let me know your thoughts peoples as I will need to plan ahead for this and get the CDT regoed etc.

When you work it out the middle ground for melbourne and brisbane is between newcastle and sydney.

However the last few years the melbourne guys have travelled 14 hours to be at port so we thought it fair for it to be biased toward them this year. And melbourne is big for gems, so hopefully it means a better turn out.

CDTs have been seen at Port for the last few years, and its hardly a "Country town" :D

The reason we are tending to look at coastal towns is

1. They tend to lie on major highways these days, and are easy to navigate to for people who arn't familiar with the area (all of us)

2. Realistically, all you boys with your mint gems wanna stick to sealed roads for the cruises. If we go west, the criuse routes become very limited without integrating gravel.

Any suggestions will be discussed im sure, and im open to everyones ideas.

Cheers Nick

x2
i've sorta grown to like the idea of kiama being the spot to have it next year to be honest.
We will need to come to some sort of agreement sooner rather than later so I can look into places to stay and things to do etc
Ps I hope to have some new bits and pieces on mine to :D

This year it was half the distance and yet very few of you QLD's bothered, so we figure its time to give the Southerners a chance to out do you's.

Although in my Gemini it will seem like 10/12 hours :)
