Putting my name down if I'm able to at this late stage. The car I bring will be reasonably well setup, nothing fancy, but I missed out on the hillclimb completely last year, and I haven't driven a Gem hard in at least as long.

PM'ing you firebug :)
TD Sedan "Derrick/Dez"
TX Coupe "Zero": Longterm Zokusha/Drift Build.
TE Diesel Sedan: Turbo Sandpiper II Mockup (In Progress)
TE Sedan "Bella": Basic Battle Bitch
Hilux: Daily

TL;DR: STOP OFFERING ME GEMINIS!!!

Will establish whether Crombo is in later today.
I'll text Roddy and see if he is keen to run the CDT around again.

What's the scruitneers like?
Check brake lights head lights and battery clamp?

Battery and nothing loose is about it. They weren't that concerned as it wasn't a proper competitive event.

Maybe attach a blue triangle over where your battery is before you go to the scrutineers... Whose car was that guy attacking with the stanley knife? Glens? I quickly offered to make my own triangle

I encourage everyone to look for more starters. As far as I'm aware the situation will be the same as last year with cost ie: the more starters the lower each individual entry.

The last email I received from MGCCN stated that they had not received the new permit fees from CAMS for 2014. So hopefully they have them by now. Also under CAMS rules we wont be able to run under a 'come and try' event like last year, but under a full permit. As to how much that costs is also unclear at this stage. I have sent an email off today asking a heap of questions to which I'm sure Greg will answer for me asap.

Also I have eased back on the communication with Greg over Christmas as his close friend Gregor, who was the little friendly fellow at last years event, was struggling with cancer and may not have seen Christmas last year. I have given him some time without me hassling him to concentrate on any processes associated with these sorts of situations. Hopefully now he is back on the bike and ready to deal with me again...

Good work Bill.

I won't have a gem again. Will probably run the Nav around LOL. Low range might help it get out of corners faster? Haha

That's never a good thing to hear. Hope he pulls through.

Not as yet mate. I'm working over the weekend so I'll try and find some time to give him a call. Ringing Greg is never a short phone call... :D
