There really arent many other options for skidpan/hill climb events, theres some nice camping spots west of goldcoast In the hinterland, nice cruise roads but its pretty much an hour from anything regardless, however.. theres dreamworld, go carts, laser tag, arcades, and shopping galore up and down the m1.

Buy your old one back.

You simply cannot borrow mine.
I figure if I say this I might actually have enough money to bring my own.

Bulk fishing. Lyell has good fish.

And Lithgow has heaps of twelvie trash if you're into that.

My uncle raced at Bathurst in his clubman that weekend, he got to 191km/hr if my gem reached that, it'd be on the back of a tow truck, being pushed out of a boeing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qk33bSinvM

As i mentioned whilst @ the entrance, there is also areas in port stephens such as Anna Bay, Fingal Bay, Tanilba Bay, Nelson Bay and all the other bays which would accommodate camping and such, and it's reasonably close to newcastle which has your favoured go karts, out the bay way theres also ten pin, put put golf, driving range and s*#t, clarencetown has camping grounds with cabins by a river. clarencetown is really close to the hillclimb, probably 45 mins or so from newcastle.

If you look through the older nationals threads we had tried to land there originally.

I think the consensus seems to be either Lake whateveritscalled and further North so "port stephens such as Anna Bay, Fingal Bay, Tanilba Bay, Nelson Bay"

I'm leaning towards looking at Port Stephens again.
It will depend on the hillclimb arrangements I guess,
If the MG lads are keen to host the event again will run start trying to lock in a camp site further up the coast.

From there will attempt to get in at Port Stephens or Nelson bay?

If the hillclimb is locked in and we are stuck in regards to accommodation arrangements the fall back is Two Shores again.

IF none of the above is achievable the movement might have to be at Lakefishingthingwtfisitcalled and work from there.

Does this sound ok?

Ever get the feeling you are being E-nudged??

We are penciled in for Saturday 4th April 2015. If you younger guys don't know what this means, a pencil was a way of scribing information onto a surface using a small wooden stick with graphite carbon in the center. The handy part about using this item was that if you wanted to remove or modify the information, you could use what was called an eraser, typically made from synthetic rubber, and when rubbed lightly over the offending graphite markings it would scrape them off the surface allowing space to scribe new information. Somewhat like a backspace or delete button. I'm sure you could find these items in a museum, also known as a Newsagent.

The reason I'm explaining this is that me now lining up this date with NGCCN I can cancel it at any time. So if the general consensus is to move the Nationals away from the greater Newcastle area next year then that is no problem. I made the phone call to book the date just in case.

In saying that MGCCN was very happy with us and is happy to have us back. Bryn said it is penciled in and will present it at the next board meeting. Hopefully we can have it in the same format as this year was... :)

I didn't mean you had to do all the running around right this second bro :P

I was more thinking if they were happy with us there we'd lock it in.

SO that being said and all parties are fine with it we will attempt to move the Nationals closer to the hillclimb I.e. further up towards Newcastle.
(Obviously with the previous caravan park Two Shores as a fall back)
