Not long now.

So aspirating 1600cc of fury this year. No turbo this year.
Will be trying to run equals with Marty in his purple Gemini.

Hopefully neither of us write them off :P

Hi

Any chance of having a run with you guys on Saturday?

We(my son and I) are members of the MG Car Club. We've missed the Come & Try day on the 8/3 and the Hillclimb last Sat due to car issues. We should be ready by Saturday(I think).

Car = 1989 MR2 AW11 (with a couple of mods) - not quite a Gemini I know :-)

Not sure if we know anyone of you, we are known to Greg Hunter from the MG Car Club.

Thanks.

I see no issues Steve. You would be familiar with MGCCN hillclimb days, but read through the thread anyway for costs and associated paperwork.

What do you think Jonno?

This is a pretty good effort! 12 confirmed starters and 2 more with money in the chute. Team Nissan have called me also as confirmed starters but are paying directly to MGCCN. So if that goes well we'll have 19 starters!

Sam will be there. He just wont have a car under his bum... :(

If I didn't mention it earlier, MGCCN are allowing us to use the new long track again! The short and slighly modified track we were supposed to run has not been re-approved by CAMS yet so the long track it is. In saying this it has been mentioned that the long track is tricky for even seasoned racers so take this as a warning to go easy. We are there for fun and not racing for sheep stations. I'd hate to have anyone damage their car let alone get hurt. It will all be explained in the drivers briefing, that they will be keeping a close eye on us and if there are any close calls on the corners they have in mind they will have to create obstacles to slow us down in those areas. Either way, long track it is... :D
