Two things - need the larger runner diameter and mine is 4z so will cause drama for oil drain

Josh - let me know dude

Mick

Hey Mick, The runner size of the one for sale would be more than enough! I've just gone a bit over the top because of a billet camshaft
I was going to weld the CNC plate into the old manifold (the one for sale) but couldnt bring myself to cut it up

It's still an option to weld the CNC 4ZE1 base plate to the 8 injector manifold for you. More chance of this happening than me finding time to build a whole new manifold from scratch

Ring me tomrorow if that sounds like an option Josh - 0408 008 537

Bit more done, I rebuild all the brakes, got the solid shim done in the borg warner diff. I still have to give the sump some loving this week to get the exhaust past. I'm aiming for brisbane jamboree but I think i'll be tight for time as far as getting it tuned and towed over... Will keep you guys updated

Really appreciating all the positive feedback guys, We put the bottom end together all day yesterday so there is some more pics and updates to come.

Sort of ran into a problem when unboxing the NPC billet flywheel as there is no ring gear and I sent my original flywheel to Lee thomas back in the day

Does anyone know of any that can be sent to WA? NPC can't find any new one so I'm guessing that's why they didn't install one? 0408 008 537 if anyone has some leads

4A10SHN - Rebuild #2

Post by Josh »

Hey Peeps

The engine is all together now... The best part? Throwing out all the f*#cking boxes and getting some cupboard space back!!!

Now that the engine is in all the fun jobs start. I need to make the alloy exhaust, make a new radiator or clean up the old one, finish engine mounts, cooler piping, wiring, fuel system and now I can also finish the proper intake manifold, I just have the old one sitting on there for now. I have a roll cage currently underway for a customer so it might be a couple of weeks until a decent update again! Thanks!
