Reassembly after fresh paint is by far the funnest part of any rebuild... :)

Finally got the pedals sorted

Got the cutter from USA to put valve reliefs in the pistons

Waiting for the custom billet cam

Waiting for a CNC flange for the intake manifold

I need to get my touch screen dash and finish that and the floor plates then drop everything off to be coated black :)

f*#cking hell, getting better and better by the minute.

Hey Josh, noticed the O rings to seal the inlet manifold instead of gaskets, just curious what the train of thought was and how you reckon theyll go long term with heat cycles?

The cylinder head should only ever see around 80 degrees so I think they will be fine with some Nitrile or silicon based O-rings to handle the methanol as well :)

really its no different to the o-rings on injectors and such, they don't normally fail that often in place, its when you pull them apart they die! (in my experience anyways)

but yeah certainly an o-ring rated for fuel and high heat would be safe insurance!

Unbelieveable

Dead serious now - how much for a carbon copy of that inlet manifold and plenum?
