1 Q thou whats the go with you dump pipe at the bottom, was it a clearance issue that made you reduce it but the sump?

you mean where it goes from 3.5 inch to 3 inch?

not a clearance issue, just wanted 3.5 inch out of the turbo to allow for expansion and promote better spool, the first couple of feet of exhaust are most important, by then the heat has dissipated a little and coming down to 3 inch wont hurt it.

hahaha yeah i have actually been doing a bit, last weekend i ripped out all the stock heater/fan/box assembly under the bonnet and dash, have acquired a couple of 12v hair dryers for the demister vent mod. to make room under the bonnet for the M&W ignition system i'll be getting with help from mr rudd. also pulled the fuel tank to make a new pickup and put a dash 6 fitting on for fuel return.. to make jamboree this year i think i'm gonna have to start working on it during weeknights, hope i dont burn myself out!

i have been making good progress, had a few quiet days at work. i rewired the engine loom, it comes out of one of the heater pipe holes now near the back of the head. changed the injector connectors over too for the HKS 1000cc injectors. mounted and wired the CDI unit, also have done the rear gearbox mount. presently combining an auto tailshaft yoke with a 4 speed tailshaft to match the MUA box..

saving up for the coils now, and trying to sort out a rusty fuel tank issue....................... its been off the road since 2001 lol

just a quick pic of the boot area and fuel system, nearly done in there. got a nice condition diesel tank from elky, cleaned it out with phenyl (bin cleaner) and modded the fuel inlet to fit the coupe. also had a dash 6 fitting welded on for the fuel return. now has a carter lift pump, ace surge tank, 044, only job left there really is to make mounting brackets for the filter and lift pump.

coupla new pics. have ditched the heater box arrangement as you can see. making a new alloy coil mount/heat sink/hole blocker offer today, and wiring up the coils. they're mercury outboard coils from m&w.
