farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk its been ages since i've updated this thread. here's a coupla progress pics. havnt had anywhere near as much time to spend on it this year, but its xmas time again, closing the shop for 2 weeks, and bringing the car to my place for some more concentrated work.....

got $1200 worth of braided lines and fittings, all pro flow stuff, clear anodized aluminium, none of that s%*tty red and blue here! currently trying to work out if i can afford an M&W pro14 before xmas... if i can, there's a chance she could be running finally.

here's a coupla pics from when we dragged it to the GM day at kawana:

flywheel is a custom billet one by racecraft in kunda park, very light.

yeah lee, the light is at the end of the tunnel!

pro 14 is gonna have to wait until mid january. i'm entering the car in the gatton street sprints for s*)ts and giggles.. jeez braided lines are expensive. i'm over 2 grand in the s*#t now. things you have to do to get tech inspected.....

Coxy did you make that inlet manifold or is it modified out of something else. It's looks like nothing I've seen before.

yep the bottom half is a lynx twin dcoe manifold cut in half (that made me cry) and we made some 38-44mm id adapters out of 3mm wall thickness alloy pipe, blended into the plenum top from a GTIR pulsar (JET96 one was featured in hot 4's years ago, my manifold is already famous hahaha)

gemdeo i'll post a coupla phone pics of the bay now, its getting better :)

yep i've had a month off working on it as i had to do a manual conversion on the starion and a few other things to the widey starion so i could do gatton sprints (got 2nd in my class) but yes i've replaced all the fuel lines with 3/8 line and dash 6 fittings, new surge tank, fuel reg, 044 pump, braided oil and water lines, oil breather lines etc etc. i'm currently deciding if i want to take longer and save up for a m&w pro14, or just run a bosch 4 channel ign module and run lower boost for a while, i just wanna get this fkn thing on the road hey....

now that gatton's over i'm right back into this thing. HAS to be at jambo this year.

its got a durapro graphlex in it at the moment, its o-ringed and receiver grooved, and the gasket has been sprayed with VHT copper gasket cement to allow a bit more heat to disperse into the head and block. i'm also running ARP 2000 series head studs from an RB26. so hopefully the head shouldnt lift under big boost, and if it doesnt ping, this h/g should hold..
