Where's this thread been hiding? SERIOUSLY nice Gem man! I'm not totally sold on the red wheels on green car, but holy hell, love the car overall.

Btw those fender mirrors look near identical to the ones on my track car! Were they off eBay, sold for a Datsun ute or something?

They are just generic man. I have the same and they were for an RX2. They just put a million ads up with all oldschool car names in them.

Yeah man they are Jst generic ones of ebay, a mate bought them for a 260z but they are all the same i just had to profile the bases to suit then sprayed them gun metal grey.

Cheers for compliments, a few people have said that about the wheels until they saw the in person - Pitures don't really do them justice.

Stink, there are some alright 15x7 ET25 wheels on sale these days so you might be able to find something okay (might need spacers on the back).

I have the VT kit with 15x7 ET26 on the front of my car and the offset is perfect. Check my Gallery thread.

I just basically bought a set of SSR Formula mesh 15x8 rims on YJ, only for the importer to miss the bid... Oh well that's cars.

Putting these together at the moment, full reverse mesh 15x8.25 +16 rears, 15x7 +25 fronts.

imported them from japan, they were a set of 15x6.5, 15x7 but i re-banded the 6.5s to 8.25s.

Here's a short/remote shifter i made up over the past week, cut and shut subaru/gemini combination. works very well, mounted to the floor not the gear box and is right up near the steering wheel with bout 3.5" throw between 1 and 2 etc.

Cost me about 5$.

Sorry about the quality, my camera phone is very scratched - i'll try get soemthign better up.

yeah s*#t photo, good setup though ;)

I used to have a celica 5 speed in my Torana and had a long shifter, v8 supercar style, it was such a nice setup!

Yeah, nice and long with a short throw works well. I'm currently working out how to mount my hydro hand brake.

Disc conversion is nearly done, ill for it up in the next weeks.

Ha that shifter is nearly the same as mine, I made mine to slide up and down the stick and the gearbox shifter so I can adjust the throw, it's interesting having such short throw then getting in another Gemini with the stick feeling like it comes out of the dash. Top job on the car how much did the band's set you back? Last time I went to buy one for my liberty they were off their face expensive!

Yeah, I cut/extended/shut the shifter to reduce the throw, I'll probably change that in the future. That end is all Subaru so ill get the adjustable sti aftermarket one.

The band's were about 500$ for new Inners and outers for the rear wheels.
