Project Gem, Round 2. MASSIVE UPDATE! MOARR!

Post by noiseboy7 »

Finally got my hands on another gemini :D
It's abit of a bucket, but its not too bad

Picked it up from Coffs Harbour yesterday
And drove it back to the gold coast, it didnt miss a beat.

As soon as i got it home i got rid of the horrid grill and tow bar haha

The auto 1.6L is staying in for now until my head is ported and the cam and twins are on the 2L.

Plans:
- Full re-spray in Voodoo Blue.
- Finish working the 2L out of my old gem and drop it in (with the 5pseed)
- All round lowering (properly) NO CUTTIES haha
- New rubbers and rear lights.
- Re-trim in either honeycomb or an off white of some sort
- Hidden wiring
- Black pursuiters, whitewalled (similar to the ones on 'beausuf' gem)
- New 2.5" exhaust of the extractors on chrome dumpy.
+ More to come.

So i'll keep this updated

Yeah I reckon after a re-spray along with a thick clear coat and a mental polish it would come up awesome

no rims for daily driving ? :( dissapointed, mine has worn the 18's for well over a year now
and it gets driven daily, pretty much every day of it's life
