My super6 TD wagon
My super6 TD wagon
Hey people,
This is my td wagon. shes about 12 months into a slow build (hopefully not to far off finished now)
Purchased with a vn v6 conversion already done, hopper stopper front brake upgrade and vt rear upgrade, b&m shifter, built auto, a very tight diff and some shiny paint.
Basically all i'v done is swap motors over to the L67, just making some better headers for it at the moment, full re wire, and working out a few bugs here and there.
I think this thing might have had a fair few owners, its still pretty tidy, does anyone have any history on it?

Also incase there are some v6 conversion gurus passing through here i'm having some trouble with getting a brake booster to fit in the bay. i know i could run 2 remote boosters but was just wondering if there was a cheaper option where i could ether find one that fits or one that can be modified easily?

Re: My super6 TD wagon
how will you go for bonnet clearance? looks like the blower sits pretty high on the new motor, is that a cooler under it?

It is a little high, the pully just clips it when the bonnets down (spewin!). i'll sort something out later once its running.

Re: My super6 TD wagon
that motor use to make 270kw (360hp) at the wheels in an old car of mine.
i was hoping to have it street driven on clubReg but i don't think i can now that the laws have changed. So it could be track only unless i work out a way to engineer it

Re: My super6 TD wagon
I like it
what is the blower, it doesn't look like the factory Eaton blower ?
from what I've seen of v6 conversions in geminis with brake boosters they are either remove or VERY VERY tight!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!!

Slot the holes in the firewall where the brake booster bracket bolts on. That is what i did with mine, got about 10 to 15 mm more clearance.

Its been a slow build.. I've had the motor freshened up and got some decent extractors made for it. And it all fits in well kinda haha.. I'll put up some more pics once i roll it out of the shed
