Probably not a bad suggestion. Just start off with a 7a block and add stroker crank, black top head and inlet - 2 litre 7agte FTW!!Javi wrote:4a-gte so you only need to buy 4a parts for both cars?

For those that are curious, I got it back for 700 as it sits. With no motor/box/tailshaft. The car had dirty handprints and s*#t all over it. Just needed a good clean up.
I was thinking just a stock 12a or 13b carby. Wanna stay carby for simplicity.

12a's are period correct and sick.
Therefore this gemini needs an NA/ carby, pulsing 12a flamethrower!

Cause the Gem is a side project Its not my main concern at the moment. My 86 is haha.
But once the bank account is healthy again after buying alot of much needed parts for the 86 then I can try and source some sort of Rotary powered engine and correctly install it into my Gee-mini.
Then skids

Yes I'm still lurking around here. hehe
Okay so the Rotary idea seemed to expensive and too hard and I'd honestly spend my money on the ae86 instead of the Gemini. haha.
But anyways dad and I bought a G200.
The specs are (according to the old owner who was an engine builder):
Ported intake side of the head
shaved and decked
stage 2 cam
copper headgasket.
It had f*#cked big end bearings. So we pulled it down, replaced the bearings, painted it up and made it look all pretty and s*#t.
Then we bought a the stuff we didn't have like a 32/36 weber, extractors, clutch, throttle cable, clutch cable, tailshaft and a radiator.
All we need to do is put the clutch in and put the box on and the motor can go back in finally.
It will hopefully be running soonish.. Not sure if it will get rego again. Id like to think so
