Buzzing all day long.
Not fun. I've been getting a heap of mig experience welding fence gates for work with a decent mig so I know what I'm missing out on.

not much has happened really exept the tyres i fried have now been replaced , the box is fair on its way, the syncros are pretty angry so its ttime for a mint 4spd
kind of in 2 minds what to do, a) make it a rally car or b) paint it and make a mint street car for summer
how it sits atm

so the time finally came for me to do this gearbox,
i had the 4spd, i had the matching fine sline yoke and i had the good nick g200 clutch, so with the bestpart of 45mins i had the box out on the ground now this is where simple jobs get hard as usual something dsnt play ball, in this case it turns out piazza remote shifter does not bolt onto 4spd the mounting are just isnt there, infact the difference in teh casings oif the 4 and 5spd boxes are huge
as such my dilema
anyway that to the side i set onto getting the new box preped grease here check atht etc, also note the size in clutch discs
then i tried modding a bracket for the reote shifter, lets say that didnt work as well as id hoped, as such went and saw su59em and grabed a standard shifter, yea thats right i didnt have 1 lol dont ask me why i had like 10 at 1 point,
after doing so i bent it into a homo shape such as this
mad a gear knob casue i wanted too lol, amazing waht u can do with simple things and a lathe, also put a couple of 5/32 grub screws in the base to hold it on and in place
as such it now sits like this,
im going to make up a standard tunnell again beacse i hoinestly dont think im going remote again i think im gonna do a lil bit of work and make a beter version of this and actually shorten the throw, it honestly dsnt feel to bad its just a lil odd cause the remote was soooooo different just need to adjust i canot smash 3rd down to second the same lol i like being able to swap between 4 and 5spds as well
now im starting to think about a new exaust and maybe induction im not sure yet,

let me start by saying torque tube shafts suck hairy left testicles and teh man who designed it should be shot, didnt bust an axel but
thanks the shiftyphuka for seting me up with a shaft after that went for bit of a cruze was so good not having the car shake to teh shithouse at 60-70kmh
no id never driven a gem with a 4spd over 80kmh when i did get up to 110kmh i was like hmmm motor ready to explode? so i decided for pice of mind and something to do id add a tacho now normall ppl buy a mount yeah nah i make 1 lol turned out okay i guess.
then i was prompted for watever reason to get new mirrors as such ended up with these i kinda like them i think the stem needs to be shortedned a touch but there different, let me know what you guys think???
