Hey man, I'm loving your work on this car! You're putting in alot of work, similar to my dad and his track car. I think you might be able to relate to my thread.

Sorry the pics aren't great, only got my phone for photos.

Yeah that is exactly why I couldn't put a 4-link & Watts linkage
in the back. Regulations.
Also I was going to fabricate a Macpherson Strut front
end for it, to give it more travel.
If I run it under the CAMS historic regs I could run a
4-link but not a Watts linkage setup. But there are
very limited CAMS historic events running.
The CAMS PRC Regs state that the rear end is classed
as 'suspension' & is there for free, but it all has to
bolt up to the standard mounting points. No other
holes can be drilled for the mounting & it all has
to be interchangable with the standard rear end.
The way I did it is the only way it can be done like
that.
Ronnie - I don't actually have any full sized pics of the
car yet. It will be driving on Sunday with a bit of
luck so I will take some then.

The stock rear end would have to handle better than the ladder bar due to articulation wouldn't it? Most guys with ladder bars are only doing straight line stuff..

single ladder bar works exactly the same as a stock diff though. only difference would be the 3inches or so offsetredzone (coxy) wrote:The stock rear end would have to handle better than the ladder bar due to articulation wouldn't it? Most guys with ladder bars are only doing straight line stuff..
