Stock TF daily! New look!

Post by Geminis4ever »

Heres my TF! It's stock as a rock in every department! I was sick
of not being able to drive a gemmy on a daily basis (and the orange one
is not a every day driver at this point and I wanted to get a super stock
TF/G for collecting! One TD and One TF - both shapes) Story is the bloke
I bought it off stumbled across it at a wreckers before it got crushed
rekons the original owner was a meticulous 90yr old bloke that had the
starter seize so kept in the shed (where it spent all it's life) for 2 yrs till
RTA took his licence and off to the wreckers it went! It's only got
120'000k's 8) only downer is its a 4spd

Only things I plan to do to it is:
- Restore original paint work (little inperfections here and there)
- Chrome window rubber beading
- Install a tow bar (which I have already done) for towing my tinny
- Venetians
- Hide a head deck and a pair of 6" speakers somewhere?
- Possibly lower it with lows (not superlows)
- Alarm with Imobiliser (hidden)
- Have spare set of stockies with TD hubbies and one (white) whitewall

Got abit bored with the nanna spec look so for a bit of fun (and the original suspension was shagged anyhow so thought may as well f*#k
it some more) slammed it on superlows in front and choppies in back!

Cheers mate! Funny you say it looks like yours as
after I bought it there were 3 other Identical TF's go
up on the classifieds in the same week! Must of
been a popular colour in the TF's!!

Found some 16" Momo Corsa wheels that I'm rocking atm! Next on the
list is to replace front/rear suspension as original gear well and truly shagged
now and then prob just get some Calibra rims for more everyday use!
This year some time would like to see a TG front end go on also a new respray
and engine setup go in aswell but their gonna take time
