So i have fitted an EFI fuel pump and larger line ( as previously pictured ) into a gem tank, its sitting in the boot of the car and has been tested, but have a fuel leak somewhere under the car, that im guessing is holes from ray\ts who where living in the engines valley near the starter motor.
Hopefully this weekend i'll be able to get the engine running so the car ( celcior ) can be moved to a better location.

EDIT: Found out i used the wrong fuel line, tried to unscrew the correct one and it appears to be too badly corroded, or cross threaded, but will endeavor to rectify it and get this thing started!

Rover V8 Dimensions vs Lexus V8 Dimensions

The Rover V8 basic dimensions:

Length : 708 mm
Height : 707 mm
Width: 770 mm
Weight: 220Kg (minus starter & flywheel)
Power: 150 – 230BHP (ignoring the TVR 5.0 version)

Lexus V8 4.0 quad cam 32 valve V8 basic dimensions:

Length : 655 mm
Height : 610 mm
Width: 620 mm
Weight : 177Kg (minus starter & flywheel)
Power : 256BHP -305BHP

Huh! This doesn’t make sense! The Rover looks tiny in comparison but yet the figures clearly say the complete opposite.

yeah the 1uz is wide as fk. The guys on PF that did the 1uz into a rodeo got 120kw outta there's and it's standard if that helps at all.

the 1uz is narrower than the rover and it fitted well in the gem bay, was just starter motor and extractors that were the problem. The 253 is alot more of a headache to keep street legal
