well first qually was not good......i red lighted, broke an axle and had a misfire..... the rx4 i was racing also had issues....we both ran mid 21's, musta looked quite funny!

i brought a spare axle, but on removing the 2nd one to poke out the remains of the broken one we discovered the splines were twisted......so a call out to lok15 got me another axle (thanks dude!) Got some electrical supplies, fixed the axles and misfire before the next qually! ran a 15.31 and all is good

3rd qually was a another redlight and a 15.5, seems i have a few shifting issues

sunday elimations saw me beat the savanna pp rx3, he broke the beams and i ran under my dial in 15.31 on a 15.35, next run i beat a 10second beetle running 15.51 on a 15.30, he broke out due my my good reaction time

they told me i had a by run for the semi's so i was unto the finals, so i ran a slow time to save the t tube, afterwards they told me they got it wrong and i had to rerun against a 10sec torana with a v6 commodore motor (hi tech? how did that get in?) this was a seasoned drag car, towed to the line and towed from the return road, did only 1 qually and was not happy to rerun at all.....they beat me fair and square but i got the feeling they were there to take a easy win, i never saw that car at all as they towed it in last every run

so in the end i got to the semi's but left jambo feeling frustrated.....next year i will have the hilux diff in and a 2 step for consistency

cheers
