You've also embedded it from half way brah, starts mid way through video with Uhleys car. f*#k that thing sounded epic.

Also. Send bobs and vangina. I mean, pictures of my car please. YOU ACTUALLY TOOK SOME THIS TIME.

I give a f*#k about it lol. Keeping it clean is easy as much as it's multi-coloured it still gets cleaned every so often :D

Yeah no sure wtf is going on there. I'll see if you can work that out.
Maybe I haven't had a chance to really look at all of them and I lost half to :'(

It gets bowdens orange stuff thank you. I actually need to clean it again. Currently playing daily while the falcon is getting repaired.

I dunno I think I accidentally cut and pasted over one set of pics :'( I dunno if dads camera updates the file name when taking pics i.e. Img_4001 on one memory card and carried that across onto the next but didn't update the number.
So had IM_4001 on two memory cards and transfer them I may or may not have clicked overwrite yes to all. I was pretty tired when I did it so it's a 50/50 gamble.

Trying to save for a clutch at the moment for this.
I got under a month to get it ready for summernats and about $0...

I'm free-ish on Sunday so I'm hoping to strip the old clutch and flywheel off it and get that ready then pull the sump off. I need to get the sump and head off Amy's old 2L and get them ready to smash on. There's a swap meet on in Qbn on the weekend so may pick something up there.

#notlookinggoodcanberratime :(

I need to make a list actually.
I'll do that now.

Summernats Turbo 2L Build list:
- Get Red 2L
- Pull head and sump off Red 2L
- Get Black 2L
- Pull head and sump off black 2L
- Get decent head gasket (open to suggestions) for red 2L
- Get ARP studs for 2L (if they exist)
- Get bearings for black 2L (figure the sumps off may as well?)
- Get sump rocker inlet and exhaust gaskets for black 2L
- Bolt head and sump to 2L
- Find clutch
- Get flywheel machined
- Setup inlet
- Get Micks injectors and regulator
- Install reg and injectors
- Install turbo and feed/return/coolant lines
- Bolt clutch and flywheel on.
- Chuck into Red 2L
- Install to engine bay and merge with gearbox.
- Install dump pipe.
- Obtain/buy ECU
- Wire in
- Work something out for Dizzy
- Setup fuel system
- Buy intercooler
- Install intercooler and piping
- Attempt to start.
- Send to exhaust shop to have a flange made up to suit the exhaust.

TLDR
I need
ECU
Clutch
Intercooler
Then bash it all together and hope for the best...

Single cam.

I bang on about it a couple of pages back.
The black one is Amy's old single cam 2l from the white gem.

Get a gasket off Thomas 4 parts
Head studs are rb26dett kit
Full gasket set usually cheapest option, if you have a repco near you, you can put it through my account if you want, if you were in TAS I could get them to do it for cost.
Can get you a good deal on a haltech if your buying a new ecu as nick gets a good price being the dealer.
He keeps trying to get me to change the autronic but that ain't happening haha

To run the 26 head studs don't I need to make a crayfish sump like yours and run a girdle? That'll blow the fundage out and mean i'll eat into ECU etc money.
I gotta check. I think I may have one from Adams Gemini rebuild.

Yeah I wanted to stray away from buying a new one literally because cheap c*#t. $500 max is my budget so unless he's got a sprint 500 for that much spends I'm out.
However I will keep it in mind :D

You talking bout head studs or main studs old boy?
Head studs up the top to hold the head down
Main studs for your crank journal bearing caps, girdle is on the bottom of the caps.
Same studs do both so if you buy a set of RB studs you will have some spares if you want to do a girdle later

Will see what he says, one of the Targa guys may want to update so you may get one second hand but at a good deal

Yeah the ones that hold the head down.

So if I get RB26 headstuds they'll just bolt in? no mods?

Yeah man I don't want a brand new one. I just want one I can either zero the map on it create one with a g series setup and go.
Microlebs don't tend to like doing this and for $300 i have to get it mapped from microtech.

Yeah Microtechs are poo in my opinion.
Haltech are very easy to set up. Autronic is fairly easy but you have to do some calcs.
Will see what I can do.
Yes no mods I just plunged the threads with a tap and made sure they were clean and down far enough.
I just hit melb so I will be back home soon!
