Good thread. Lots of profanity and bros and skids bro. Morrisby used to run a worked 4z with quad throttles as a rally car. The sound made me moist

I'm glad you've enjoyed it so far.

Yeah the old setup in the red (without quads) did some f*#cking awesome on song.
That was the next level but ran out of $.

Been thinking about gearbox..
So I've got a superhd clutch for it but was thinking about how strong or no so strong gearbox is.
Anyone ever run an MSE (So flat floor TX box) with a semi powerful motor?
I've one of two options.
Run the thing till it blows up and the work out what to do or somehow try to ghetto rig up my mua box to fit in there.
I need to work out something for the mount is my biggest problem

f*#cking lol at head hitting desk. I didn't quite do that but I did have to take a walk around the block to calm down.

Stop f*#cking with coupe. Get red one running sorted. Start f*#cking with coupe again.

Oi, stay out of this man! Ive spent the last 9months convincing him to get the f*#cking thing on the road as a daily instead of catching the bus, dont talk him out of it now!

Lol Sorry to make you walk bro. I'll have to add that into the clause at the begining.
The coupe is something to do while nothing happens with the red one and it costs next to nothing as I have most of the s*#t.

Will be running sorted sometime this century. And really it gives you plenty of time to become unsulky and buy a decent Gemi.

I'm not sure about the flat floor boxes I don't think the gemini boxes are that bad, I have had 2 5speeds s*#t them selves because a nut came undone on the shaft. Gone thru one four speed due to bearing failure but I haven't pushed any decent power yet. Just put skinny tyres on and save the boxes

Hmm ok.
The 5 speed held up pretty sweet to 320bhp in Amys rig, after a few serious power runs it started to sound a bit sad and ended up losing 2 and 4th somewhere along the hume highway.

I'm hoping it will be right I am not going to be polite with the thing. Smash 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and see how it goes.

Will be like a clutchless gearbox.
The 'cantfindemgrindem' special edition. It's like the bogan/ghetto version of it.

With the n/a 4z skinny tyres were terrible man. Traction what's that? f*#cking bam bam inside wheel lights up like a champ I yell and scream and carry on get traction u bitch!!!

See how it holds up.
Epic gearbox explosions are cool right?
RiiggghhttT??

I like your rims Jonno , they suit the coupe well , what brand are they . Are you gonna give it a quick squirt in yellow before rego or you thinking of another colour.

Hey man! Welcome back to the forum!

Some german brand bro I honestly have no idea. They are superfking light weight to. It's crazy.
I had two I aquired from a guy I was friends with. Messy break up left majority of his personal belongings and bit behind including 2 rims.
Elky had one set he had come across and helped me out with them :)

So I've got 6. 2 white and 6 silver. I want to get them all blastered and powdercoated white.
Should look good.

As for respray. I was right into ratrods and things for a while. Few people have tried to pull it off but they've come up eh.

I got purposely rusty guards for it. Looks cool but bit over it. Sorta pulls the whole shitbox looking sleeper arrangement.

Eventually I'd like to respraying it the original yellow with the red fine line down the sides.
Seeing Jimmys TX in his build thread wants me go back to original.

Prick

Thanks mate, yeah original yellow with the white rims will look pretty sweet.

What engine mounts were you using when the 2.6 was in the te , are you able to use the same one's in the coupe or will you have to make some up.

Yeah I thought so. Should look sweet!
I'll get them all repaired blastered and powder coated when I decide to paint it in the distant future.

Reversed Standard ones and a slight fire wall mod which I'll do again make it sit all neat.

A mate did the diesel arrangement and that works to but honestly cbf with different cross members or changing them again for that matter.

It worked well in the red thing so should be fine int he coupe (as per pic above)
I'm gunna pull the f*#cked motor out tomorrow and start stripping down the 4z on Friday. Means I can make a start on few other things as well.
