Gypsy Panel Van

Post by dean8 »

Hi All,
Purchased this gypsy van. Its a bit rough but the shell seems to be ok. Not sure
what I will do to it yet as I am restoring a TD panel van as well at the moment.
Enjoy

Pretty stoked I found one. Does anyone know exactly what material
The inner panel van walls are made of in the back of the van. I have some templates but would
Really like to make them in the original material.

They are made out of the same stuff as kick panels. Compressed Cardboard type of stuff .

You can't get it, 3mm mdf is the closest you will find. Is this the one that was on fb?

Was given this owners manual recently for an original Gypsy sold in Qld. It is not a match for the Gypsy I have but is interesting.
Would be cool if this gypsy still existed somewhere.
