This Forum is here for each member to post pics of his/her Gemini’s. Keep it to one thread per car.. if you get more pics etc, add them to your existing thread, DO NOT start a new one

Are you racing this thing or is it a street car?

It will be street registered and used for race when i have time to do so but when things start to get a bit hard to keep registered it will be more race purpose only.

Done some more today moved the fuel regulator made the ice box for the intercooler and bolted up and done some of the plumbing for it. But heres a pic of a bit more progress.

Cheers

I used the standard gemini mounts, just built a guset that was engineered to weld onto the front of the cross member but still uses the very front bolt hole on the original Cross member and a new one in the guset that was welded on x member just to bring the engine foward so the engine would fit in with modification to the fire wall. The sump i custom made me self cause the C20XE engine is quite high i did look at other sumps like the manta, and the C22ne engine in the rodeo but were still to high so hence i built me own, and the gearbox i just the used the 5 speed out of the C22ne rodeo gearbox just to get it running for now till i break it then ill look at putting something better in it i did slightly modified the mounts for the gearbox but nothing to major that still could use the original gearbox mount bolt holes i did convert it back to cable clutch as well form the original hydraulic clutch in the rodeo.

Ah wicked! I actually have a C22NE rodeo at work with a holde piston, i'm trying to work out if I want to fix it or raid it for 20XE conversion parts.. Tempted to do one NA one day. Did you get yours from Lee? I remember he had a Calibra for a while that he bought just for the motor. But he went Ecotec crate motor for the drag car. What head does yours have? The Coscast type or later one?

Ya most of it was either from uk or the us i got a few internal engine things from in Australia witch didn't cost really any more then getting custom stuff made here for the G series engine. cause over there there just like buy it of the shelf already done and the postage wasn't a real big issue cause some of the stuff came quicker in the mail from over there then getting s*#t sent locally to me here in Australia.
