AZZ80Y's gemini...

Post by AZZ80Y »

this was my first car, a TF gemini. i got it when i was 16. it was pretty much stock, except 4 a set of 15's. my brother crashed it so i pulled it apart and rebiult it. i had been working on it for 5 years when i bought the white one. the gold car ended up gettin scrapped. all the parts that i had bought over this 5 year period have pretty much been transfered 2 FJ20MR. this current gemini will be my final gemini. i will never sell FJ20MR...

MRGEMI had:
.volvo safron gold paint, fully detailed engine bay, white interior, fr17 simmons wheels, completely rebuilt and worked 2ltr, 5speed
there is a heap of other stuff i can't be bothered writing...

i have also owned another gemini. it was a sky blue TG with a 2ltr (donated to MRGEMI) in it. slammed, 5speed, standard interior. if i can find some pix i might be able to scan them.

interior was just retrimmed in white vinyl. was done at cools auto trim in peakhurst, sydney. everything was padded. made it look heaps more classy. always got people thinking it was leather!!! doors weren't even trimmed, just painted. ran out of the folding stuff.
i had the seats, roof lining, crash pad on the dash, shifter boot and parcel tray done. pulled everything apart myself got it trimmed and did the refit myself. painted the lower half of the dash a matching white myself also. made it cheaper plus i like working on my own cars where i can.
the gold car wasn't sold. i kept all the parts i had bought 4 it and swapped them over 2 my current gem.
