New addition..

Post by fleaboy »

Picked her up over the weekend.
Its Dads midlife crisis, has a little bit of work to do on it but will be done in no time hopefully.

its a 75 L, so that means it doesnt have the metal dash, but has curved windscreen and a 1600 at the back.

Ah doesnt have any major cancer, the only rust is just minor surface rust.
We have to lower the front, find some bigger wheels to fill the gaurds properly, and an exhaust system. But first things first we have to get a roady, may have a slight problem with a rear seat belt.. thinking if we just remove the back ones the mech will just presume that they didnt have them like the majority of the ones before it.

Lower it, keep it fairly stock lookin and maybe porsche 356 hubcaps 8)

My sister has a 67 beetle (flat windscreen, 6v electrics and matal dash  ) and it's a great car. Goes surprisingly well for a 1300cc 4 speed.
