Basically for some reason he got over sleeping in a tent or hiring a hotel or what not, so why not build a motor home.
The bus itself is a 1995 Hino,

So it had f*#k all Kilometres on it. The bus itself had to moddified to comply with Australian Standards and was actually stretched a metre or so.
Dad bought it and had it sprayed white with a stupid stripe thing on the side. He likes it i think its gay. But meh.
He had the thing gutted and the front door deleted and relocated further back.
Since then he has had the roof lining re-done and the dash recovered. Installed a bed, thrown down proper flooring and when i'm over next installing some cabinets, fridge and sounds like a sink.
i got some painting to do on it for him and then he will sort out all the electrics for it, so power inverters and what not.
I'll put some pics up of it soon.
His aim is to have it useable by the Australia Day Cruise.
Which is great i wont have to put up with his snoring again and have to sleep between to fold up chairs
