I got stuck into a bit of wheel tub action today, slow fiddly job cutting out the old bits of the inner guards and shaping the tub to suit but its worth the effort, and I have the left over bits from this side to use as templates for the other side so that's a bonus!

Have had a very productive last few days, I got both wheel tubs shaped and inner guards trimmed to suit!

Part of the reason I wanted to work out the wheel tubs was so I can sort out how I am going to fit the fuel system in, so I got stuck into that today, I've packed for a lot of holidays, this is definitely the smallest boot I've had to work with lol!

Fuel tank and surge tank just fit in between the wheel tubs, and as I got the front of them elevated a bit that meant they were further back up the chassis rail where it starts to turn upwards, so that got them in with enough room at the rear and got the angle of the tank right so the pickups should stay covered till the last drop!

And just for good measure I used the old wheel studs through the tank rails and old wheel nuts to hold it down hehe :)

Will put the battery on the left hand side behind the wheel, and that should also offset my weight on the driver side, and then I should be able to fit the lift pump behind the surge tank.

yeah the rear end seemed odd without the entire boot floor and stuff in it, feels more normal now with the tubs in place!
