Here is front tow hitch located where its needed , i have to cut a hole for the brake mechanism to go through , and its got to be re-inforced both sides to regain strength.

Low front bar to accomodate cars with spoilers

Small box section for taillights. I was going to go with LED lights , but with the ebay stuff around , i bought some normal ones , a pair for pretty much what a single on ebay costs. I have modded them a little internally , as the lights are able to seep into each other , so they are painted black inbetween to seperate them.

Also , main top frame of guards is done , just sorting out front and rear sloping sections.

Overall view rear end , Very close to being finished.

Gotta love the groovy wheels!!!!!

will be checking all suspension parts when its ready to tow , then trial towing it around the block , then paint , then wiring and lights.

here is setting up the tow hitch.

Image

using wheel nuts backed onto each other , and gemini head bolts!!

Image

touching up parts with welder ( i capped the end tonight , but forgot to take a photo )

Image

Here it is with little hook attached , to hold chain and D off the ground when not in use.. dont know how functional it will end up being , but we'll see!!.

This pic was taken after it had its first test tow. whilst draging it up to hitch to the car , the wheels went off the concrete and pushed the trailer into the back of the car , no scratches , my fingers managed to stop and damage to the car , needless to say , i have a few VERY sore fingers

Only guards and wiring/lights to go , then a quick coat of paint and off to the weighbridge.

as heavy as its rated to tow. It has brakes , mechanical , not electrical.Mechanical brakes can work as well as electric brakes.
