at least my bro's got a freshly rebuilt G161z laying around i can have

interior's better than the outside. when i get a chance i'll vacuum and everything, bolt on my ZZ/Z steering wheel and take some pics!

its good, i promise...

update

Post by stock_gem »

heres some interior pics as promised :D

All trimming has been done by me, except what needed to be sewn.
all my idea too. the plan was to have a sensible, modernised interior.

aaron did that back in the day. he got a allan fowler (local gemini nut up my street  ) to cut and weld his shifter with a stick welder. it snapped off in his hand hahaha

i'd love to have a remote shifter tho, even one of those makeshift ones made out of a 3/8 ratchet extension and a wobbly.
but apparently they're illegal and i'm not allowed to make one

also sick of the "Gemini of the whenever i could be assed updating" section not getting updated.

sorry for the bad angles, the car's parked in, in the driveway. anyways, heres some randoms of the interesting things on the car i mainly did while i was bored waiting for paint.

the smoothed, gloss black door handles. does anyone know of this being done before? i haven't seen it.
Image

my custom side skirts
Image

the very practical boot with a light that comes on when you open it, and a remote opener from a vn commonwhore

will be making an mdf enclosure and carpeting it all eventually.
Image
Image

my dodgy-ass isuzu badge and clear indi-ma-cators. will prolly get clear ones for the bumpers when i can come up with the money
Image

JDM tail lights with a high mount brake light. i think it looks rather modern
Image

the form the car's in now is just so its drivable. i have big plans for it.

so far the things i've planned:
engine bay done up to "stock" standard
air con
remote shifter
central locking
ZZ/Z steering wheel
clear front indicators
real isuzu badge (haha like i'll find one)
carpeted boot enclosure
tinted windows
front 6x9's in the doors
ZZ bonnet vents off elky's crashed red gemini
rear skirt under the bumper to match the rest of the bodykit
black paint-outs around the windows

god i'm such a gunna

when most of this is done, i'll clean it up and have a propper photo shoot

nice Gem mate , few things , you dont need Strut braces on Geminis , your stick is the longest i have ever seen ,and looks funny with that skinny vinyl going up the shaft like that , (bring the dirty comments on)

And you have Retractable rear Seat belts ??? Sick , i have a set but havent installed them , was your standard fitment , or did you whack them on ..

and i demand more pics from further back showing the whole car from all angles . these close ups are nice , but we cant see your whole car

..and dont do the rear body mould thing , trust me will not look good , leav it as is and get some GTS mirrors
