I agree it is a little steep for a hillclimb (see what I did there?). Once the day is run and won I will sort out what we have all paid and return individual amounts back to each starter of what you have paid above and beyond. ie: If Roddy and the remaining 6 starters pay up, then we will have a little surplus money in the account that everyone will receive back. However I wont know until Saturday on how much I have as someone may show up on the morning desperate for a start.

Yes the $190 covers the $25 CAMS 'Çome and Try' license.

Race day is Saturday 30th March 2013

Gates open 8am

Vehicle checks begin 8am and finish at 9:15am (or later at the discretion of MGCCN)

Racing starts at 9:30am and concludes at 5pm

There will be a break at lunch time for competitors and track staff. Lunch will be discussed at the driver's briefing.

Drivers please remember to bring long sleeved cotton/low flammable shirt, long cotton/low flammable trousers, fully enclosed shoes. Greg suggests that you can use cotton drill shirts such as King Gee. Same for trousers or denim jeans. King Gee style overalls are acceptable. He advises narrow shoes, not big wide joggers or work boots. IMO the humble Dunlop Volley is perfect and cheap if you don't have an alternative.

Helmets. Check your Australian Standards sticker for AS1698. Most helmets carry this sticker but if your little brother has peeled it off or it's no longer readable, you wont be able to use it.

Those that already have their CAMS L2S license, be sure to remember to bring it with you.

Spectators bring some chairs or a blanket to sit on. There is no grandstand at this track.

Alcohol will not be allowed to be consumed anywhere on the premises during racing or lunch. As far as I'm aware as soon as it is announced that racing has concluded, it is ok to crack open a beer. Please drink responsibly for the drive home.

Please don't be a dickhead. It is not ok to do doughnuts at the top of the track on your last run. It is not ok to dust your mates with gravel on the way out. Please leave the area as you found it. I will be the one answerable to the club and I'd rather not.

I reckon it will be a great day. Please come and introduce yourself to me when you get there, as I'm keen to meet everybody. If there is something you don't have or are unsure about, please ask now so it can be sorted. If there is something you have forgotten when you get there on the day other than your car or your wife please let me know so we can put a call out to have it sorted...

Any drivers under the age of 18 needs to pm me ASAP so I can email you a consent form for your parent or guardian to sign.

Anything I haven't covered here should be covered in my lengthy edited post on page 14...

Awesome :D my amended payment should come through shortly (sent yesterday) and, good news, since fitting Bridgestone Potenza RE002s, the Piazza now goes around corners! Also, Bridgestone Ecopias are s*#t, don't waste your money.
