I was down at Gilberts Garage today browsing over the Datto 1600 that'll be running. We discussed your car and were checking out the above picture. You'll have a few extra interested people watching your Gem tomorrow... :)

cool :)

going to be a bit of a tuning session for me, different cam and head, so yeah might start out a bit dodgy :)

i also got my hands on two track tyres for the rear so hopefully can get a bit of the power to the ground.

its very different to the drag racing im used to thats for sure!

to everyone that didn't come to this, sucked in you missed out on an awesome day!!!

would like to thank firebug for all the effort he put in to getting this to happen, I know how much work it takes and its a credit to him because everything flowed smoothly and was spot on!

I personally thoroughly enjoyed myself and had a ball in a car that's totally not meant to do that !!!

The MG car club run a great event too, very well run and professional, but very laid back and enjoyable at the same time!

ps. pics and vids to come later!

Massive thanks to firebug for organising an awesome day. Anyone who didnt come definitely missed out! Great fun all round.

If its on next year everyone needs to be there!

x2 on how the clun ran it. Great bunch of people, professional but easy going and very approachable.

Can't imagine how much fun putting that speadsheet together must've been mate ... well done!

How was the coma?

Great pics and it was good to see everyone getting in and having a go.

Even better ... feedback from the MG guys. OZGEM are welcome back anytime. Good reflection on the behaviour as a group or car owners.

Car hoons ... not so much. Nice putting some faces to forum names.
