Looks old
Looks nice but pitching tents the way we do would be hard due to all sites being cement

Needs more looking into, can somebody scope out the sites like we did before going to the Entrance ?

This is the area that would suit us all , but more central than northern. Unfortunately , there is a bigass national park in the middle , stopping a central inland meeting point from happening. I was hoping for somewhere at the bottom of the range with a good cruise route up the hill to a restaurant/pub for lunch. Oberon is out , unless there is a change of chef's at the pub there between now and the meet

Jonno I reckon it'll be ok, but I will call them to confirm. If so the extension will be ready (I know I said that last year) and It'll be a different track.

As for those other you have listed, remember not all of those are private tracks. I know the couple close to me such as King Edward Park, and Buladelah's Wooton Way are public roads and only run once a year when the council closes them for the official state hillclimb rounds. :( In saying that, after watching our last event, King Edward Park would have half the field (me included) going home on a tow truck...

While I think of it I'll throw this in when we tried to book a place in advance we had a fair few problems trying to find someone to accommodate our group.

Depending on how many are actually coming next year (which my guess is a fair few) probably need to book out around 15 sites.

This seems to be a bit hard with that amount. Alot of parks have people booking their sites in advanced and tend to not particularly care too much about someone offering them 15 sites filled.

This place looks ok:

I think Justin Sherwood sussed it out for us previously.

Going off Loks map, Bathurst/Lithgow could work. Katoomba etc probably could too. Crookwell/Blayney/Oberon are pretty small and shite anyway.

Adelaidians pass through them both and everyone else can go inland and avoid Sydney.

Bathurst has a hill climb on at the mount that weekend  It's a fairly serious event though.

I can also put together a pretty awesome cruise route in that area

Find out who is hosting it and see if there is room for weekend warriors to tag along. Usually round competitors have first preference then they'll make up numbers with the others... :)

Yeah I should have chopped the actual road closed ones out. (Bathurst is the same)

Loks square is interesting.

IF something like that were to happen Bowral isn't too bad of a town. It's been a while since I've been there.

It's probably the same distance to Goulburn I.e. Wakefeild park which has both a hillclimb AND a full race track there.

Just throwing that in there. I dunno how we would go for numbers on that though. Although we'd probably get people from Canberra up for it?

I did enjoy the Ringwood circuit and would be hell keen for that new section

Goulburn sounds like a bad idea to me simply due to the extreme police presence that weekend.

f*#k it's hard to keep up! First time in a long time lol.

Yes yes and yes.

Most people camp and I guess we'd need cabins or villas or whateverthefucktheywerecalled for those people who don't want to.

They already have a hill climb event that weekend so it could be an option still.

I can't google map how long it would take anyway.

Don't actually go through Goulburn to get to the racetrack anyway which I why I thought of it. Like I was saying I'm not really keen on holding in that vacinity either way for the above reasons.

Just like everything though. The 5-0 will be out in force over the weekend either way. I think we saw 5 along the highway for the supercruise.
Misbehave they get upset.

Be morons get nailed. Although Crombo will tell you that's a load of s*#t.

ideas ideas.

I'm keen for Port Stephens.
