f*#k yes! Pistons look porn.

Cant remember if i asked you in PM - did you cc your chambers on your head? Curious because someone was telling me [cant remember who] the chamber on the G200W head was bigger than the G180W head. Also where the hell are you getting all the genuine Isuzu bits from?! Part numbers would be awesome if only for record keeping.

Cheers Nick, yeah the chambers on this G200W head were 70.2cc. The head only needed 0.002" off the
face to clean it up, so it should be close to a STD head volume.
I haven't got a G180W head to compare it to either. I know the piston crowns are a fair bit different too.

 All of the Seals, Gaskets, Bearings, Water Pump, Welsh Plugs, Oil Drain Hose & Timing Parts in this engine are New Genuine Isuzu parts.
They are not New Old Stock either, I still have quite a few connections at Isuzu in Japan from
my days at Isuzu Motorsports. It's who you know :D
I know the Genuine Headgaskets are readily available still.

I got the PM's, they just take f*#cking DAYS to send back on here for some reason.

Got around to making a Gilmer Belt drive system fit from a SOHC engine.
Not a small job!

What are the chances of getting more genuine Isuzu DOHC parts? I am gonna need some help sourcing bits for the G180W's I have to build for my group A car. I already have cam bearings and head gaskets but I am gonna need cam chain guides etc.

Do not know if anyone has checked this out but there is a strange listing for camshaft bearings for G200Z and G180Z engines on this site. Could the z really be a W?

Have heard of it, but never checked it out personally.

It depends on if the photo theyve provided is of the actual product or just a stock photo. The photo looks close, not sure about the shell with the 3 holes [dont have a DOHC in front of me/memory is hazy]. If the photo is right, then you'd need two sets one for each cam.

Any way you could ask them for dimensions?

I checked back to the federal Mogill catelog for both G200Z and G200W. There is a cam set bearings listed for the "Z" but not for the "W". Makes you wonder.

You could probably Federal Mogill for the specs of a sealpower 1858M bearing set

Could possibly be a bit like the Headgasket/VRS kits for the DOHC that were getting around marked as G200Z. Rumour had it it they were done that way to slip past the bosses noses...
