Simples!

Hey babe/darl/love/whateverpetname

Wanna head into Sydney for the weekend? We can check out the show on Friday/Sundy/Monday and if it's ok I might take the car to the track with the guys that are coming up from everywhere for the Geminats.
Should be a good run.

Thoughts?

If required present box of chocolates and flowers. If it fails at least you've gotten somewhere with these ;)

Hint Dave/Bill to
So more than likely it wont be done by then, but also, its no longer going to be possible for this car to do anything other than drags, the four link is just not designed for corners!

as for the update part 1 :)

Fuel system in the boot is pretty much done aside from wiring!

Update part 2

Started tacking the cage in place so I could make some more bits for it and work out where to mount the seat and such like.

Did this front chassis rail support part of the cage so I can then see what area I have to work with for the turbo manifold.

Update part 4!

Got bits!

So this gadget allows me to run an external oil pump pickup, and I am doing this as I am running a stud girdle now which the pickup gets in the way of!

This will be welded inside the sump with the fitting on the outside to mate up with the one on the oil pump.

The pickup is one I found on ebay for a chev, should work nicely!

I am also in the process of getting the block cleaned and bored, as well as the rotating assembly machined and balanced then I will be able to start dummy assembly to work out deck height and such.

I've also purchased a few steam pipe bends and starting to think about making a turbo manifold.

Block has been bored and the crank is back from being machined and balanced, so I was able to dummy up the bottom end to work out the deck height for final machining of the block.
