This is the wagon once I got her cleaned up and transported 100klms to my house!
I got a brief history of the car from the guy I brought it off:
Was owned by an old guy who imported it over from New Zealand and drove it for some years, eventually he handed it down to his son who had grand plans for the car but didnt ever get it off the ground (He did however strip the hell out of it!!!) It was then left at a perfomance shop down the coast for a couple of years wasting away in amongst car parts and weeds!........ Until I rescued her!!

All going well but a bit slow though... I got a big valve head that has had a full reco and has NIL corrosion in the galeries or anywhere on the head so im pumped about that (Will post pics soon) ... It came with Double valve springs to!
Ordered new valves and a Gilmer Drive set too Also got a NOS Rollmaster double row timing chain set on the shelf so I grabbed it as well...
Next on the List is 17's and a Holley Blue fuel pump... Is it me or is there a never ending list of sh*t to buy for these cars.. haha!!
In the next couple of weekends I want to pull the motor and box out and get the engine on its stand... trouble is I dunno what size bolts to use??? _________________

Awesome score, theres a guy on the gm-t forum doing this convo (plus turbo I think...) on his vette wag.
Can't wait to have mine all done! Also not sure if this has been mentioned but a gem wag diff will bolt virtually straight in there meaning you won't need to get prop shaft modded. _________________ Crazytims Chevini (Chevette Hatch with TX Gemini front panels) currently in the build... watch this space!!

...or maybe not... ask cul8r, my radiator mounts to origianls gem mounts which were part of the panel welded onto my chevette. Chris (aka cul8r has put a G200W into a Chevette sedan, think he chopped his radiator panel right back to fit radiator and is running bonnet pins. _________________ Crazytims Chevini (Chevette Hatch with TX Gemini front panels) currently in the build... watch this space!!

Here's a bit of an update... so Ive pulled the G200 down and have found that it had a blown headgasket.. no biggie as I was planning to rebuild anyway. I went and got a PERMASEAL gasket set, welsh plugs and new chain guides and tensioner. I plan on replacing those kinds of things to ensure a quality build and reliability down the track. Also got a new set of wheels
Next on the list is a mint timing chain cover, King bearings and carb kit. Am running a 32/36 weber. Got a holley regulator and fuel pump so hoping it all works well.
I got rid of the old rear armrest cards and made panels up myself with 6x9's in them, should go great!
Am now in the process of building the big valve head with new valves, HD springs and my new 35/75 cam (Thanks Loki).
