Hey guys, With an inline four like the gemi you only have an intake pulse every 180 degrees of crank rotation so the pulses in a single manifold do not "add up" to a great deal more vacuum than one runner. Even if you only plumb one runner to the vacuum can on the dizzy you will be ahead (...

Cavity wax is specifically designed for areas such as sills and is perfect for working its way into hard to get areas, thats the idea of it and it sticks like the proverbial. BTW if you are putting cavity wax under your guards then you are using the wrong product, it is meant for areas you can't get...

Your right reducing the spring load is a step in the right direction but i still prefer the idea of "guiding" it. I tend to agree the pressure to put it on and pull it off wasn't huge but it wasn't small from memory either. We are only talking a very small gain here but it all adds up. i c...

If you are worried about oil to the rocker shaft then notch the end of the tube so it has only three points of contact for instance. Or try using a thin wave type washer that exerts very minimal force but allows openings. Even try a dry film lubricant coating on the shaft which function very well on...

Great idea mate. Good to see some innovative thinking. While you are making it more reliable more importantly you are cutting down on friction which is a horsepower killer. The standard spring retainer is exactly that - a spring and exerts a sideways force on the rocker to keep it there, it is alway...

Water injection will be perfect for that setup and produce just as much power if sorted correctly. Will save you a bunch of cash as well. aqua mist used to produce a good kit.

This does sound like valve float but its sounds like you have issues with your setup as well. 1. If it is a race engine and you have a substantial amount invested in it then get rid of that block and get one machined properly so the deck is true. 2. Use an adjustable wheel (interested to see a pic o...

If you do go the SR20 try and find a red top. little bit harder to find but the port has a slightly better valve entry angle than the blacktop; more flow potential. I put one in my S13 2yrs ago and they were getting a bit rarer then but Im sure there are still plenty to be had.

The idea of deleting information out of spite really goes against the information sharing philosophy of a forum. Whats more is it is really untidy and personally I am sick of coming across a now incomplete thread because some childish peanut wants to delete their stuff and put something like "f...
