for this pipe that everyone talks of, i used a large socket (same size as ball joint) and a sand filled mallet to "tap" it in with.

worked well. done 10000+ kms so far and no problems, no ovaling.

I had this problem not too long ago. Car ran and sounded like it had done the head gasket and i had the water stain down the intake side of the block from head down. Upon removing the head and intake manifold there was the same water stain in ports 1, 3 and 4. Turns out the intake manifold wasn't se...

You can swap the locks over to the opposite door in the even that the drivers door is the one not working.

It just means that you have to turn the key the opposite way to unlock it and you can't leave it "stuck" in the locked position.

Cheers

Rare Spares is the place to go for GHL locks. When I bought mine, Heidi at Roxburgh Park store convinced me that you had to get the early Commodore set and reuse the plastic clips from the Gemini with them and that the boot lid one would not fit at all. I ended up going home with the Commodore set, ...

Solex locks are s*#t. Get a set of GHL ones. They're practically the same except for the fact that the ghl ones sit more flush with the door and can't be ripped off with vise grips like solex ones can (which I've seen done)
