I used a metal rod about 1/2 inch in diameter and put it through one of the holes in the sprocket. Use a rag or some rubber or something to stop it from damaging anything. When you put it all back together, ensure it is timed correctly. Do you have a Gregory's manual or anything, if not, it would be...

You undo the bolt on the end of the cam and that will release the sprocket from the end of the cam, which will let the chain off from the sprocket.

the 4ze1 dizzy sends the signal to the computer and it fires the coil. you will need to still run the computer to fire the coil, or use a different dizzy that can run an ignition module and do away with the computer all together.

This topic was also on boost cruising tonight. The reply he got was " if your not able to work out how to lift the engine out, then you shouldnt be doing the removal at all". But to get it out, use an old seat belt, strap or chain setup looped around the front of the engine, and also at th...

if you were to make the small section behind the door and the wheel arch into a suicide door it would be cutting out the whole b pillar, which is a major structual member of the car. There would need to be a whole lot of fabricating and engineering to do it properly and legal.

where to buy in qld?

He tried crow, precision and a few other places, but to no avail. I live in Brisbane, Qld, so a store around the area would be helpful, and also...

hey, pinch or block off the hose that supplies vacume to the booster and see if it makes a differance. if so, then you might have a torn diafram. i have a custom front setup using vs commodore single piston front calipers with 295mm rotors and stock rebuilt rears, using the 1" master, and the p...

on the rear i have 16's, but they are 215*40*16. so the rolling diameter would be very close to 15*50. i have an adjustable panhard rod and it leaves about 15mm on the inside, but the guards are flared slightly. it should not be a problem with 215*55. but only one way to find out.

the thing i would do is get a long piece of speaker wire or something, something twin, as in two wires. put one side to battery positive, but run it through a fuse or c/b just for safety, and the other to battery negative. and run them outside the car into the boot and straight onto the pump. that w...
