there was one done in the 80's...ekw wreckers in Melbourne did it...it had 13x9 rebel wheels...oh and used a twin cam piazza rack apparently.

the bathurst twin cams used a mechanical injection setup...bloody expensive and these days hard to get someone to set it up. modern injection is cheaper and better imho.the fj would suffer tha same problems as a gseries twin cam...parts are hard to come by. a couple of gemini's in improved productio...

this may not help but back int the 80's my first gem made better 10hp at the wheels on twin 40's on a g200 and a stock pump :shock: (good fro a 14.5 1/4)..now things are better thane 25 years older so pumps wont work as well you my well need a facit pump,but a stock pump will not over fuel your carb...

the really interesting thing is it was registered as a 1975 model..i think i got lucky on a few things..it just made the required height(exhaust just touched but the guy let it through)..still had the cage,with intrusion bars in place(still is)and the Detroit locker was still in it..yep i got a bath...

my coupe(ok ours Jamie) though registered in late 86 has no chassis number or body number. it was a brand new shell in 1981.the tags on it were taken from a wreck to get it registered back then and it was given a vin number by vic roads vin number is now gone after an accident. tags are from atx258...
