I would stay away from the GTI Seats. They sit too high, they will sit hard on the seat belt, and the rails are not the easiest to make. I love my GTI seats...so does anyone who sits in em. Id recommend them! I used the thinnest flat bar to mount them to keep them low,and if I was to do it again,I ...

Ideally youd want to strip the chrome plating off them....

As long as you have good surface prep for good paint adhesion you should be right.

Fuel Pump Wiring with ECU

Wondering the best way to wire up both the VL fuel pump and the stock Gem in tank pump together off the ECU so they prime and run together..... The VL pump has its + (pos) wire from the ECU which is all good, though can I use the same trigger wire to liven the Gem in tank pump? I would leave the Gem ...

x 2 on summer, worst has gone. Find a Gem with air con and take all the A/C parts from it.... Can get costly come fitting, youll need a new filter and have the system converted to R134a, although you may still get an equivalent gas to the Gems original. Make sure you get the wiring harness and micros...

Those little clips you can pop off....If you take door panels off a TG take them too, theres about 3-4 per door from memory.

The GTI seats arent a bolt in fit...took me about an hour or so though to fit em, theres a Tech write up I did that goes through it all.

I looked everywhere too....no luck

I ended up with a really good one off a twin cam box.

Have the 4z boxes got the similar style/shape rubber?

If so...maybe adapt one of them off a late model Rodeo, probably still NOS through Holden?

Id take it up to where they braize the roof on fron new..... If you sand a bit back youll see there is lead? over the top of the factory join. Bit more work but worth it if your doing it properly. Try drilling out all the spot welds around the rear quartercan almost lift the panel off once their out...
