TG project
ok so heres my project gem. my roomate and i are putting it together and bought the yellow one locally wich is in really good shape except for a litte rust to be removed. it has a g200 motor thats never left a drop of oil in my driveway. the idea is to get that registered then get to work on the ca18det which is in the blue car.
the blue one we bought off carsales.com after much (much much much much) stress but at a good price. the shell is completly buggered and it has filler all over it and i could fit my head through the rust holes in the footwells. one door is good (passenger) and we have taken a few other bits off like window winders and seals etc but most of that shell will go to the tip once we get the motor out. the ca seems to have a fuel flow problem so maybe injectors need a clean but seems otherwise fine though we will see what its like after a compression test. one other problem is one of the engine mounts is a bit dodgy so we will look into getting a new one fabricated.
the aim is to get a track/hillclimb/kana car together for local events in townsville and hopefully have it registered with the ca in it, though we both have our own cars so thats not a necessity just makes it convenient for getting it to and from events etc
anyway hope u like though the pics of the yellow one are a bit average as they were taken on my phone and in my rather cramped driveway (5.0 commodore and a 94 nissan bluebird in the garage behind..little red crap box next to the TG..work truck behind..holden barina out on the lawn..and ca18 gemini lurking around there somewhere) ive since sold the barina and the work truck is gone and hopefully will be selling the handi van asap which might give us some room and make our neighbours happier.

The Platypus has the brain of a Dolphin, and can be seen driving a forklift through it's habitat of kelp..........
